The Role

As a Medic on remote mine sites, you will provide essential frontline medical care to site personnel. You will manage emergency responses, conduct routine health assessments, and support overall workforce wellbeing.
This role requires flexibility, strong clinical capability, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
 

• Assess and treat injuries and illnesses
• Respond to medical emergencies
• Promote health and well-being on site
• Oversee daily operations of the site clinic
• Maintain accurate electronic patient records

Role Requirements
 

• Prior experience in mining or industrial sites
• Paramedicine or Nursing Diploma/Degree
• Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response
• Current and unrestricted AHPRA registration
• Advanced Life Support (ALS1 or ALS2)
• HLTPAT005 – Collect Specimens for Drugs of Abuse Testing
• Class C Manual Driver’s Licence
• Intravenous cannulation competency
• Strong computer literacy

Highly Desirable
 

• On-road paramedic experience
• Remote site experience
• White Card
