About the Role
You’ll support the Civil Operations team by providing technical expertise across the planning and delivery of civil infrastructure projects-including roads, footpaths, and drainage . Your focus will be ensuring these projects are safe, compliant, sustainable, and delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support & Project Delivery
- Develop civil designs, specifications, and construction documentation.
- Prepare and manage scopes, budgets, estimates, and project briefs.
- Deliver capital and maintenance projects aligned with regulations and community needs.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with standards and contracts.
- Provide technical reports and recommendations to management.
- Assist in the preparation and evaluation of civil works tenders.
- Support procurement strategies that meet operational needs.
- Manage supplier relationships and ensure project deliverables are achieved.
- Monitor contract performance, timelines, budgets, and safety standards.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering .
- Solid experience in road, drainage, and footpath construction and maintenance.
- Knowledge of construction planning, estimating, and cost control.
- Experience with contracts, procurement, and contractor supervision.
- Ability to interpret civil plans and technical documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of traffic and contractor management practices.
- Current WA “C” Class Driver’s Licence and White Card.
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance.
