An established and growing NDIS provider is seeking a commercially minded Senior Finance Officer to take ownership of financial integrity, compliance, and reporting across the organisation.
This is a key role supporting leadership with accurate data, strong governance, and practical financial insight.
About the Role
Reporting to the Functions Lead, you will ensure financial operations are accurate, compliant, and audit-ready. You will oversee invoicing, funding alignment, budgeting, reconciliations, and provide clear reporting that supports operational decision-making.
This role combines hands-on financial administration with higher-level oversight and advisory responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain strong financial controls and ensure NDIS compliance
- Oversee end-to-end invoicing (ShiftCare ? Resolv ? Xero)

Ensure invoices align with approved funding, ROC and NDIS pricing

Lead budgeting, monitoring and variance analysis

Identify financial risks, funding gaps and margin pressures

Oversee financial impact of rostering decisions

Manage reconciliations (participant grocery accounts, petty cash, expenditure)

Produce clear, practical financial reports for leadership

Support internal and external audits

Experience in a Senior Finance Admin / Finance Officer role

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Confident working in regulated environments

Experience with Xero and Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to interpret data and provide commercial insight

NDIS, disability or community services experience highly regarded

NDIS Worker Screening Check preferred
- Ability to obtain a Police Clearance
