Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to deliver high-quality accounting services and trusted advice to a diverse portfolio of clients. You will play a key role in ensuring financial operations run smoothly, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to the growth and impact of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare monthly management and grant reports
-
Present financial information at board meetings
-
Prepare acquittals and compliance reporting for funding bodies
-
Supervise and mentor junior accountants and bookkeepers
-
Manage payroll, accounts receivable/payable, and reconciliations
-
Prepare client budgets, forecasts, and provide practical business advice
-
Lodge IAS/BAS and manage STP obligations
-
Build and maintain strong client relationships with timely, professional service
-
Liaise with auditors, suppliers, banks, and funding bodies
-
Contribute to the strategic growth and success of the team
-
5–10 years’ relevant accounting experience
-
CA/CPA qualified (or near completion)
-
Experience managing multiple client accounts (NFP experience highly regarded)
-
Strong knowledge of grant, compliance, and project reporting
-
Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks Online, and/or Reckon
-
Excellent communication and client service skills
-
Proactive, collaborative, and positive approach
