S26 Manager – FIFO | 2:1 Roster | $85–$100/hr
We are currently seeking an experienced S26 Manager for a FIFO mining site on a 2:1 roster.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing scheduled shutdown activities from planning through to completion, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and in line with site requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end S26 shutdown activities.
- Coordinate inspections and shutdown planning.
- Oversee major component replacements and equipment rebuilds.
- Manage commissioning and return-to-service activities.
- Coordinate contractors, trades and site personnel.
- Monitor shutdown progress, resources and schedules.
- Ensure works are completed to required safety and quality standards.
- Manage shutdown documentation and compliance reporting.
- Liaise with maintenance, operations and site management to ensure successful shutdown delivery.
About You:
- Proven experience in S26 or major mining shutdown management.
- Strong knowledge of mining maintenance and equipment.
- Experience managing major component replacements and rebuilds.
- Previous commissioning and shutdown close-out experience.
- Strong leadership, planning and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple contractors and work fronts.
- Strong focus on safety, compliance and delivery.
- Previous FIFO mining experience highly regarded.
