Rostering/Scheduling Coordinator

Ready to make an impact behind the scenes? In this role, you’ll ensure every shift is covered, every participant receives the right support at the right time, and all services align with NDIS plans and quality standards. Based in Mirrabooka, this full-time position suits a proactive professional who can work independently while thriving in a collaborative team.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Create and manage rosters for SIL, community, and in-home services using Shiftcare ensuring alignment with client plans, staff availability, and compliance requirements
  • Connect support workers and participants to ensure the right fit in skills, experience, and preferences
  • Manage rosters around planned and unplanned leave - after-hours on-call support as required, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted service.
  • Ensure compliance with SCHADS Award requirements and NDIS service delivery standards.
  • Proactively identify and escalate risks related to staffing, overtime, and service gaps, while prioritising tasks and anticipating operational needs.
  • Maintain Registers e.g. Asset Register etc
  • Provide general office support including document preparation, filing, scheduling, ordering of office supplies, and responding to customer queries
  • Assist and support recruitment processes as needed
  • Team Leadership: Mentor House team leaders in roster planning and lead rostering meetings, fostering a culture of accuracy, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement : Liaise with HR, Finance, Compliance, and Service Delivery teams to support workforce planning, service standards, and operational transparency.
About you:
  • Strong experience in rostering & scheduling within NDIS, aged care, or community services
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational and time management skills
  • Must have
  • a strong understanding of the SCHADS Award and the ability to apply it effectively
  • Be able to monitor and verify that all rostered staff meet compliance standards.
  • Be able ensure schedules of support are accurately set up in the rostering system according to correct funding.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Teams, Word, Excel), fast typing skills, and experienced in rostering platforms like ShiftCare .
  • Excellent communication skills
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check is desirable
