Rostering and Administration Coordinator 

About the company:

Work for a NDIS provider which emphasises respect, accountability, sustainability and integrity. They specialise in services such as mental health support, accommodation, community access and companionship and complex specialised nursing care.

Our client is looking for a dynamic Rostering and Administration Coordinator for their team in Perth’s Northern Suburbs.  This position will be best suited to an individual who has the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team and can juggle multiple competing priorities efficiently.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage rosters for Supported Independent Living , Community a nd In H ome S ervices , ensuring optimal allocation of staff to meet participant needs.
  • Match support workers to participants based on skills, experience, and preferences to enhance quality of care.
  • Proactively manage both planned and unplanned leave, ensuring continuity of service delivery.
  • Ensure all rostering practices comply with the SCHADS Award and NDIS service delivery standards.
  • Manage compliance, such as by monitoring qualifications, fatigue risks, and shift caps.
  • Communicate effectively with support staff, management, and families regarding roster changes or updates.
  • Demonstrate strong organisational skills by prioritising competing demands, anticipating needs, and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Maintain essential registers
  • Support day-to-day office operations, including document preparation, filing, scheduling, ordering office supplies, and responding to enquiries.
  • Assist throughout recruitment processes as required
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with HR, Finance, Compliance, and Service Delivery teams to support workforce planning, service standards, and operational transparency.

What You’ll Bring:
  • NDIS knowledge and experience  (essential)
  • Demonstrated experience in rostering & scheduling within NDIS, aged care, or community services (essential)
  • Ability to interpret and apply the SCHADS Award
  • Ability to juggle competing priorities
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and experience using rostering software
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (essential)
  • WA Driver’s Licence (essential)
  • National Police Clearance (essential)
  • Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module (essential)
  • Working With Children Check (essential)
