About the Role
Based at the corporate office, this role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. You’ll take ownership of rostering and scheduling across Supported Independent Living (SIL), community, and in-home services to ensure seamless delivery of participant supports.
In this role, you will:
- Create and manage rosters for SIL, community, and in-home services
- Match support workers with participants based on skills, preferences, and availability
- Manage planned and unplanned leave, ensuring minimal disruption to service delivery
- Maintain compliance with the S CHADS Award and NDIS service standards
- Monitor staff qualifications, fatigue risks, and shift caps
- Keep accurate records using Shift Care and ensure schedules align with funding plans
- Communicate clearly with staff, families, and management regarding roster changes
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Service Delivery teams to support workforce planning
- Provide general administrative support and assist with recruitment coordination
- Support after-hours (on-call) rostering as required
You’re an organised, proactive, and collaborative professional who can stay calm under pressure and balance multiple priorities. You have strong communication skills and a genuine passion for ensuring participants receive the highest quality care.
You will bring:
- Proven experience in rostering or scheduling within NDIS, aged care, or community services
- Strong understanding of the SCHADS Award and NDIS compliance requirements
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving abilities
- Confidence using Microsoft 365 (Teams, Word, Excel) and rostering software such as Shift Care
- A solutions-focused approach with the ability to build strong relationships across teams
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check
- National Police Clearance
- WA Driver’s Licence
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
