This is a hands-on role where you will provide expert advice, drive continuous improvement, and support the organisation in achieving its strategic goals while ensuring safety, compliance, and resilience.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Manager of Safety & Risk, you will play a key role in strengthening risk and business continuity framework. You will work closely with leaders and employees across the organization to embed and continually improve risk-aware practices into everyday operations across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Risk Management & Business Continuity
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve risk management framework
- Lead the integration of risk and business continuity into business-as-usual processes
- Review and maintain organisational risk registers across governance, corporate and service levels
- Conduct risk assessments and analyse potential impacts from disruptions (e.g. natural disasters, security breaches, legal risks)
- Support and optimise systems such as Camms.Risk
- Partner with internal teams to develop and maintain business continuity plans
- Facilitate risk workshops and business continuity exercises
- Deliver training and build organisational capability in risk management
- Engage with external stakeholders including regulators, insurers, and emergency planning groups
- Monitor key risk indicators and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Support reporting to the Executive Leadership Team and Board
- Develop policies, procedures, and reports to strengthen organisational resilience
What you will bring:
- Tertiary qualification in risk management or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of risk and business continuity frameworks in complex environments
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and build strong working relationships
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly
- Experience in developing policies, procedures, and reports
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
