Risk & Business Continuity Advisor

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Risk & Business Continuity professional to play a key role in strengthening enterprise risk management and business continuity practices across a complex and values-driven organisation.

We are seeking a proactive and collaborative professional with experience in risk, governance, compliance, or business continuity within healthcare, aged care, disability, community services, government, education, or other highly regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support enterprise risk management and business continuity initiatives
• Maintain and review organisational risk registers across multiple business units
• Facilitate risk assessments, workshops, and stakeholder engagement sessions
• Develop and improve risk frameworks, policies, procedures, and reporting processes
• Coordinate business continuity planning and emergency response activities
• Provide risk analysis and reporting to leadership teams and key stakeholders
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across governance and operational risk functions
• Deliver training and promote a positive risk and compliance culture across the organisation

About You

• Experience in a Risk Coordinator, Risk Advisor, Governance & Risk, Compliance, WHS & Risk, or Business Continuity role
• Background within Not-For-Profit, healthcare, aged care, disability, community services, government, education, mining, utilities, infrastructure, or other regulated sectors
• Strong understanding of enterprise risk management and business continuity frameworks
• Experience facilitating risk workshops and engaging with stakeholders at all levels
• Strong report writing, organisational, and communication skills
• Experience using systems such as CAMMS, Protecht, RiskMan, or similar governance/risk platforms highly regarded
• Relevant qualifications in Risk, Governance, WHS, Business, Compliance, or related discipline preferred
