We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Payroll Supervisor to join our client’s local council team. In this role, you will oversee payroll operations, ensuring all processes are accurate, compliant, and completed on time.
- Manage end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.
- Maintain and support the HR/Payroll system, including upgrades and troubleshooting.
- Provide expert advice on pay, entitlements, and superannuation matters.
- Conduct audits and prepare reports for Finance, auditors, and external agencies.
- Supervise and develop payroll staff to ensure high performance and compliance.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to improve payroll processes and systems.
- ???????Support People & Culture with strategic initiatives and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end payroll processing
- Strong knowledge of interpreting Industrial Agreements, legislation, and policies related to payroll, taxation, workers compensation, and leave entitlements
- Hands-on experience in system administration, including system configuration and maintenance
