We are currently partnering with several well-established organisations to recruit experienced Payroll professionals for multiple opportunities at both Senior Payroll Officer and Payroll Officer level.

The Opportunity
In these roles, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end payroll services, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time in line with relevant legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements.
You will play a key role in maintaining payroll integrity, supporting stakeholders, and contributing to continuous improvement across systems, processes, and reporting. Senior-level responsibilities will also include providing expert advice, leading process improvements, and acting as a key escalation point for complex payroll matters.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end payroll processing across varying workforce sizes and structures
- Interpretation and application of awards, enterprise agreements, and legislation
- Processing of allowances, deductions, leave, terminations, and adjustments
- Reconciliation of payroll, including superannuation, ATO reporting, and other statutory requirements
- Maintenance of accurate employee records and payroll data integrity
- Responding to payroll queries and providing high-level support to employees and managers
- Assisting with audits, reporting, and compliance requirements
- Supporting system testing, upgrades, and payroll-related projects
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency
- Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing within a medium to large organisation
- Proficiency with payroll systems such as TechOne and/or Aurion
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, tax, superannuation, and industrial instruments
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage a range of stakeholders
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team
- Willingness to obtain a National Police Clearance
