ChoiceOne is currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator/Data Entry Officer to work with a reputable client in Albany. This is a fantastic contract opportunity to support our client during a period of growth and systems transition.

About the Role
In this role, you’ll play a vital part in supporting the payroll team by managing high-volume timesheet data entry across the business. The organisation is also undergoing a payroll system upgrade , so they need someone who is adaptable, detail-focused, and confident working independently to deliver accurate results on time.


What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Accurately entering timesheet and payroll data, including leave entitlements, superannuation, and other payroll-related details
  • Supporting the rollout of a new payroll system—your precision and focus will be key to a seamless transition
  • Maintaining the integrity of payroll records and always ensuring strict confidentiality
  • Liaising with internal departments to clarify information, resolve discrepancies, and support efficient processing
This isn’t your average data entry job. You’ll be working in a supportive team that values what you do. You’ll be trusted to work independently, take initiative, and help the team maintain high standards

What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous experience in payroll, finance, or high-volume data entry roles is highly regarded
  • Strong and accurate data entry skills , with excellent attention to detail
  • A high level of accuracy and the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Clear, confident communication skills to liaise effectively with internal teams
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and the flexibility to adapt in a changing and fast-paced environment
