Our client, a highly respected not-for-profit organisation , is looking for a dedicated and experienced Bookkeeper to join their growing finance team. Supporting a social enterprise that delivers essential financial services to community-focused clients, this role is ideal for someone who is diligent, service-minded, and enjoys working in a collaborative and value-led environment.
This is a part-time position with flexibility to increase hours. Depending on business needs, the role may expand to full-time or be shared between two part-time team members.

Working under the guidance of senior accountants, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, timely financial processing primarily focusing on Data Entry and Accounts Payable . You will also assist with client communication, reconciliations, and reporting support.
This hands-on, detail-focused role is best suited to someone who is organised, client-focused, and confident with end-to-end transactional bookkeeping.
Key Responsibilities
- High-volume data entry , especially across Accounts Payable
- Reconcile corporate and credit card accounts
- Assist with payroll and accounts receivable tasks as required
- Perform monthly bank and general ledger reconciliations
- Respond to client queries with professionalism and efficiency
- Lodge IAS/BAS and ensure STP compliance
- Liaise with suppliers, auditors, and other external parties
- Support the team with general financial admin and improvements
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable, or similar roles
- Relevant qualification – Cert IV Bookkeeping , Diploma of Accounting , or similar
- Experience with QBO, MYOB, Xero, or Reckon highly regarded
- Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently
- A strong sense of purpose and interest in not-for-profit work
This is a Perth-based , office-based position with flexibility offered around part-time scheduling. The role is available for an immediate start , and early applications are encouraged.
