Parks Maintenance Worker – Mowing

We're looking for a Parks Maintenance Worker to join a local council mowing team on a casual basis for an initial 4-month assignment, with the possibility of an extension.

What's on offer:

• $43.70 per hour(inclusive of casual loading)
• Approx. 4-month contract with potential to extend
• 6:30am – 3:30pm
• 5 days per fortnight
  • Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
  • Week 2: Thursday, Friday
• Commencing around 30 July 2026

About the role:
You'll be assisting with the maintenance of parks and public open spaces, operating small machinery such as mowers and chainsaws, and carrying out general parks maintenance duties. This is a physically active, hands-on role working as part of a team.

What we're looking for:

• HR licence or higher (desirable)
• White Card
• Experience operating small machinery (e.g. mowers, chainsaws, whipper snippers)
• Previous mowing or parks maintenance experience preferred
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual labour
