ChoiceOne is currently seeking experienced Painter Blasters for multiple positions across Perth, Henderson, and remote DIDO / FIFO locations. These roles offer a fantastic opportunity to work in high-quality facilities or out on site in the mining and heavy industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
-
Spray painting large surface items such as trucks, transport equipment, and vessels.
-
Sandblasting to specification and preparing surfaces to high standards.

Mixing and matching paints (including 2-pack paints) accurately.

Following detailed instructions and job documentation.

Maintaining accurate job records and timekeeping.

Promoting and adhering to a safety-first workplace culture.
Key Requirements:
- Trade-qualified Spray Painter with a minimum of 2 years’ experience

Demonstrated experience with large surface areas and structural steel

Solid understanding of painting techniques and surface preparation

Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team

Good verbal and written communication skills

High attention to detail and pride in workmanship

Positive attitude, patience, and commitment to quality
Highly Desirable:

Current Forklift ticket (or willingness to obtain)

Experience operating overhead cranes
-
Background in the automotive industry

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen

Valid National Police Clearance (within the last 6 months)
