About the RoleWe are recruiting exclusively on behalf of our client for an experienced Operations Manager who will lead operational performance, financial oversight, compliance, people development, and continuous improvement across the organisation.
In this senior leadership role, you will help shape organisational strategy, drive operational efficiency, and foster a strong, values-driven culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead operational initiatives to achieve business, service delivery, and financial objectives.
- Develop, refine, and implement processes, policies, and performance controls aligned with organisational goals.
- Contribute to strategic and operational planning, providing insights and recommendations to the Managing Director.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, ISO9001 quality standards, and governance frameworks.
- Partner with HR to support people development, performance management, mentoring, and succession planning.
- Oversee financial approvals, resource allocation, vendor management, and external partnerships.
- Evaluate business performance, identify risks and improvement areas, and implement change initiatives.
- Represent operations as a key member of the Leadership Team, promoting organisational values and a positive workplace culture.
- Travel to other locations occasionally as required.
- Demonstrated experience in an operations management or senior leadership role.
- Strong capability in business management, process improvement, and strategic planning.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, evaluate performance, and implement corrective actions.
- Proven experience leading organisational or operational change projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster collaboration, engagement, and cultural alignment.
- Tertiary qualifications in Health, Business, Management, or a related discipline; post-graduate qualifications desirable.
