What You'll Bring: We’re looking for geologists who bring both technical skill and field-ready enthusiasm. Key skills and experience include:
- Daily pit mapping, ore spotting, and grade control
- Accurate logging and sampling of blast holes
- Monitoring and marking ore/waste boundaries to maximise ore recovery
- Maintaining up-to-date geological maps, logs, and data sets
- Collaborating with mine planning, production, and drilling teams
- Adhering to site safety and environmental procedures
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in geological and mining software such as Surpac, Vulcan, or Leapfrog
- Experience running mine geology models and applying geostatistics
- A tertiary qualification in Geology (or related field)
- Current manual driver's licence
- Valid First Aid certificate
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening
- National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain one)
- Full Australian work rights
- 4WD experience (certification highly regarded)
- A can-do attitude and willingness to work in remote environments
