Multiple Local Government Opportunities – Records & Information Management (RIM) Program

Be apart of a major transformation program shaping how a large local government organisation manages, information, technology and collaboration across the city. 

The RIM program is delivering significant change, including new technologies, updated policies and procedures and alignment with evolving legislative requirements such as the Privacy and Responsible Information Sharing Act 2024.

We are seeking experienced professionals across three key roles to support our client with this program - 

RIM Business Analyst - $72.67 p/h + Super

Support the ongoing transformation and collaboration of the organisation by understanding current processes, problems and opportunities for improvement where this is translated into requirements for the design, development and implementation of required solutions. 

The Business Analyst must work to analyse business needs and determine solutions in conjunction with architecture and technology teams. 


Key focus:
  • Analyse and improve business processes to support the implementation of information management systems.
  • Map future workflows, data flows, and requirements to inform effective system design.
  • Engage stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and drive system adoption.
  • Lead workshops, interviews, and documentation to deliver clear and accurate business analysis outputs.
  • Support testing, training, and continuous improvement to ensure solutions meet business needs and deliver long-term value.
About you:
  • Strong knowledge analysing and modelling business processes, workflows, and data flows in complex environments.
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements and technical documentation.
  • Experience supporting change initiatives, including documentation, training, and communications.
  • Familiarity with structured project delivery methodologies. 
  • Experience in information or records management projects.
  • Willingness to obtain a National Police Clearance.
Business Readiness Specialist - $80.74 p/h + Super

Provide strategic leadership and expert guidance in organisational change management for the Records and Information Management Program. 

This role is responsible for building change capability across the organisation, developing and embedding effective change management frameworks and practices, and ensuring change activities are integrated, coordinated, and delivered to support business objectives and minimise disruption. 


Key focus:
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of enterprise-wide change initiatives for the RIM Program, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy and successful adoption.
  • Provide strategic advice and influence senior leaders to effectively plan, manage, and embed change across the organisation.
  • Drive organisation-wide capability uplift by implementing a consistent and structured change management approach.
  • Oversee change impact assessments, readiness planning, and reporting to minimise disruption and support effective transition.
  • Establish and govern the Change Management Framework, leading stakeholder engagement, change champion networks, and performance tracking to deliver measurable outcomes.
About you:
  • Extensive experience delivering strategic change across large, enterprise-wide programs.
  • Proven ability to design and implement change frameworks in complex environments.
  • Strong capability influencing senior leaders and driving organisational readiness.
  • Experience embedding change management into projects to ensure alignment and minimise risk.
  • Willingness to obtain a National Police Clearance.
Information Management Policy Officer - $72.67 p/h + Super

Support the City's Records and Information Management Program to improve information management systems, policies and practices across the City by providing specialised recordkeeping and information management capabilities. 

This role operates within a project team environment and has a particular focus on revising the City's information management policies to meet the requirements outlined in the City's approved information management governance framework. Play a key role in delivering a suite of clear, accessible policies, procedures and work instructions that govern the management of information, irrespective of technology. 

Key focus:
  • Lead the review and enhancement of the City’s information and records management framework, ensuring alignment with governance standards and legislation.
  • Develop and drive a clear roadmap to uplift information management practices across the organisation, covering the full information lifecycle.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to embed best practice processes, policies, and procedures across all business areas.
  • Provide expert guidance on legislative requirements, including the State Records Act and PRIS Act, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Contribute to training, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen organisational capability in records and information management.
About you:
  • Experience working in same or similar roles preferably within a government setting. 
  • Comprehensive experience in developing records and information management policies, procedures and work instructions.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the responsibilities required for good information management governance and how these can be embedded into policy.
  • Well developed interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Willingness to obtain a National Police Clearance
