Manual Machinists | Bibra Lake | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

About the Role:

We are currently seeking experienced Manual Machinists to commence immediately at a well-established engineering workshop located in Bibra Lake.

This is a t emp-to-perm opportunity offering consistent hours, regular overtime and the opportunity to secure permanent employment for the right candidates. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys precision machining, takes pride in producing quality work and thrives in a busy workshop environment.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 6:00am – 4:00pm
• Saturday: 6:00am – 10:00am

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate manual lathes to manufacture components to specification
• Perform general machining using mills, drills and other workshop equipment
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Measure, inspect and verify tolerances using precision measuring instruments
• Assist with repair, maintenance and light fabrication work as required
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment

About You:

Essential

• Proven experience operating manual lathes
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach
• Commitment to safe work practices

Desirable

• Forklift Licence
• Overhead crane experience
