About the role
This opportunity will find the successful candidate contribut ing to a safe and productive manufacturing environment and providing the pivotal components to the end product for use in the above industries.
As a manual Machinist, your primary focus is to effectively ensure that the tasks you are assigned too are completed safely and efficiently.
Duties to include, however not limited to
- Manual lathe operation
- Preventive maintenance
- Liaise with internal Stakeholders
- Ensure that all documentation is accurate at all times
- Read and interpret drawings in order to complete assigned tasks/jobs in an accurate manner
- Ensure that machines are always clean, serviced and maintained in good working order
- Programming experience is highly valued
Skills and qualifications
- Prior experience in a similar position
- Trade qualified
- Computer literacy
- Strong communication skills both written and verbally
- Ability to multitask and time manage
- Confident team player who can also work autonomously as required
- Current Forklift Licence
- FULL WORKING RIGHTS IN AUSTRALIA
