About the Opportunity 

The Injury Management Advisor plays a key role in supporting workers within the mining operations, ensuring effective and compliant rehabilitation and return-to-work processes. This position is responsible for coordinating injury management programs, liaising with medical professionals, regulatory bodies and line management to implement strategies  to reduce workplace injuries and promote a timely recovery.

What you'll be doing
  • Provide injury management support and advice to the Occupational Health Nurse and Emergency Services Officer as needed.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all health-related records and ensure secure storage using injury management software.

  • Adhere to a ‘clean desk’ policy to protect sensitive medical information.

  • Share injury management and personal details of workers only with relevant parties on a strict need-to-know basis.

  • Assist in coordinating injury recovery plans and workplace accommodations in collaboration with health professionals.

  • Ensure accurate documentation and timely updates of injury cases within the designated system.

  • Promote compliance with workplace health and safety standards related to injury management practices.

What We're Looking For

To be successful, you'll need
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, Nursing or a related allied health field.
  • C Class Drivers Licence
  • National Police Clearance
