ChoiceOne are currently seeking a reliable Truck Driver / Labourer with a positive attitude and work ethic to join one of our local councils and assist in the construction of the City's road assets and maintenance activities.

- Undertake general labouring duties including road construction watering, tree watering, concrete mixing and concrete laying.
- Responsible for minor maintenance of truck, plant, tools and equipment in accordance with City's.
- Operation of road construction plant including rollers and water trucks
- Operation of small plant and equipment; jack hammers, generators, compactors and power saws.
- Implement Basic Traffic management as required.
- Happy to train up on all skills necessary for the right candidate
- HR Truck Licence.
- White card.
- Demonstrated truck driving experience.
- Civil construction experience.
- Good attitude and willing to get hands dirty.
- Senior First Aid Certificate.
- Basic Worksite Traffic Management.
- Traffic Controller ticket.
- Experience operating road construction plant i.e. twin drum roller.
- Experience in road/drainage construction and maintenance practices.
- Experience in the safe operation of small plant and equipment.
- Experience in small plant maintenance.
