Horticulturalist (Parks) – Join a Leading Local Council Team!

Schedule:  Full-time hours ongoing | 9-Day Fortnight | Mon - Fri | 76 hours fortnightly
Pay:  $40hr + Weekly Pay
Contract Length:  Open Ended / Ongoing (with view to permanency)

We’re on the lookout for motivated Horticulturalist t o join one of our local government teams in Perth’s Southern suburbs.

Your Day-to-Day Will Include

• Mowing (ride-on and push), edging & hedging

• Pruning, trimming, whipper snipping & blowing

• Litter collection & general maintenance

• Spraying & basic irrigation

• Tree maintenance & natural area care

Start your day from the local depot and work across scenic parks and reserves!

What You’ll Need

• Qualification in Horticulture / Conservation / Arboriculture

• MR Truck Licence  or higher

• Spraying certificate or Chainsaw certificate

• Experience operating ride-on mowers

• Appropriate PPE (steel caps, hi-vis, long pants/shirt)

• National Police Clearance  (within 12 months) and the ability to pass a  Drug & Alcohol screen
