FIFO from Perth | Geraldton Region | $80–$90/hr

We are currently seeking experienced Heavy Duty Fitters to join an underground mining operations.

About the role

We are looking for experienced Heavy Duty Fitters with a strong background in underground mobile plant maintenance.

Candidates must have hands-on experience working on underground mining equipment, including drill rigs, jumbos and underground haul trucks.

Essential experience

• Sandvik DD420 / DD421 / DD423i
• Epiroc underground equipment
• Underground drill rigs and jumbos
• Underground haul trucks
• Underground mobile mining equipment
• Fault finding, diagnostics, servicing and breakdown maintenance

What we’re looking for

• Trade-qualified Heavy Duty Fitter / Diesel Mechanic
• Proven underground mining experience
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience maintaining underground mobile plant
• Safety-focused attitude
• Ability to work effectively as part of a maintenance team
