Heavy Duty Mechanic – Trade Qualified | 8/6 Roster | Casual Flat Rate $61.78/hr

We’re seeking a skilled  Trade Qualified Heavy Duty Mechanic  to join a well-established heavy vehicle maintenance team on an  8 days on / 6 days off roster.

This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and wants consistent work with a strong hourly rate.

What’s on offer:

• Casual flat rate of  $61.78 per hour
• 8/6 roster for solid work-life balance
• Ongoing heavy vehicle maintenance and repair work

About you:

• Certificate III in Heavy Automotive Mechanics (or equivalent trade qualification)
• 3–5 years’ experience in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair
• Strong diagnostic and technical skills
• Solid knowledge of  CAN-bus systems, EBS, hydraulics, and air brake systems
• Current driver’s licence (HR/HC/MC highly regarded)
• Experience with  Mack, Western Star, Kenworth, Volvo, or Scania  desirable
• Confident in diagnosing faults, problem-solving, and completing efficient, high-quality repairs
