Our client is on a hunt of a dynamic Finance Performance Lead who’s ready to lead boldly, think differently, and deliver high-value financial support to drive business excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing
This is a hands-on leadership role that puts you at the centre of strategy and decision-making. You’ll:
  • Lead a team focused on business partnering and financial performance .
  • Drive the development of budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans that influence big decisions.
  • Provide strategic insights and reporting that help leaders make smarter, faster choices.
  • Support financial capability across the organisation, making numbers meaningful and accessible.
  • Champion innovation and process improvement in financial practices and systems.
What You’ll Bring
You’re more than a finance expert, you’re a leader, a collaborator, and a problem-solver. You’ll have:
  • CPA or CA qualification .
  • Solid background in management accounting or financial business partnering.
  • A track record of leading high-performing teams and delivering results.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis .
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards and legislative frameworks (local government exposure is a plus).
  • The ability to turn complex data into simple, actionable insights.
  • A knack for coaching others and improving processes that lift capability organisation-wide.

What You’ll Need
  • A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
  • CPA or CA membership (essential)
  • Demonstrated experience in business partnering, management reporting, and team leadership
  • A current C Class driver’s licence
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
  • Previous Local government experience is desirable
