About the Role:
Join our team as a Remote Site Nurse and play a vital role in safeguarding the health and safety of mine site personnel. You’ll deliver frontline medical care, lead emergency response efforts, conduct routine health assessments, and actively promote overall workforce well-being. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role that demands adaptability, excellent clinical judgment, and the confidence to work independently in remote environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver frontline care: assess and treat injuries and illnesses on-site.
- Respond swiftly and effectively to medical emergencies.
- Promote ongoing health and wellness initiatives among site personnel.
- Manage daily operations of the site medical clinic.
- Maintain detailed and accurate electronic medical records.
What we are looking for:
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 18 months in Emergency or Remote Critical Care Settings.
- Prior experience on mining or industrial sites.
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing).
- Current and unrestricted AHPRA registration (Registered Nurse: Division 1).
- Advanced Life Support (ALS1/ALS2).
- HLTPAT005 - Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing.
- Class 'C' Manual Drivers Licence.
- Intravenous Cannulation.
- Proficient Computer Skills.
Highly Desirable:
- Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response.
- Trauma Qualification (e.g., TNCC).
- White Card.
- Local and Perth-Based Shifts Available
