The Role:
As a paramedic on remote mine sites, you will provide essential medical care. You will manage emergency response, routine health assessments, and support the overall well-being of site personnel. This role requires flexibility, strong clinical skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assessing and treating injuries and illnesses.
- Responding to medical emergencies
- Health Promotion
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the site clinic to ensure smooth functioning.
- Maintaining detailed and accurate electronic patient records
Role Requirements:
- Prior experience on mining or industrial sites.
- Paramedicine Degree
- Current and unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Advanced Life Support (ALS1/ALS2)
- HLTPAT005 - Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing
- Class 'C' Manual Drivers Licence
- Intravenous Cannulation
- Proficient Computer Skills
- On road experience
- Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response
- BG4 Underground Search and Rescue Closed Circuit BA
- White Card
