About the Role
As a MESO/ESO BG4 Qualified Technician , you’ll be responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of site electrical and mechanical systems, while delivering emergency response and rescue services to support ongoing mining operations.
You’ll play a key role in incident response, maintenance, and operational readiness , ensuring all work meets strict safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform switching, isolation, and restoration duties in accordance with BG4 authorisation.

Conduct maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair of electrical and mechanical assets.

Provide rapid and effective response to site emergencies, including medical and fire incidents.

Ensure compliance with safety procedures and operational standards.

Liaise with control and operations teams to maintain safe site conditions.

Maintain detailed logs, reports, and documentation for all activities.
About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring a combination of technical expertise , emergency response experience , and a strong safety-first mindset .
Essential Requirements:

Current MESO/ESO BG4 qualification (essential).
-
Minimum 3 years’ experience in mining or heavy industry .
- Cert IV in Healthcare (Ambulance) or Diploma of Emergency Health Care (or higher) .
- Cert III in Mine Emergency Response and Rescue .
- HLTPAT005 – Collect Specimens for Drug & Alcohol Testing .
- Advanced First Aid – (HLTAID009, HLTAID011, HLTAID014).
- SCBA/BG4 qualifications for underground response.
- Construction White Card .
- Manual WA C-Class Driver’s Licence .
- Current National Police Clearance .

Strong computer literacy and attention to documentation.
Desirable:

Background in underground or surface mining emergency response .
