Our client is currently seeking a proactive and hands-on Contract Exploration Geologist to join their close-knit team. This short-term field-based role offers immediate exposure to active exploration programs, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately log and sample RC and diamond drilling
- Undertake field work and contribute to day-to-day exploration activities
- Maintain thorough and accurate geological records
- Work collaboratively within a small team in remote exploration settings
About You
You’re a field-ready geologist with a strong interest in gold exploration and a solid foundation in drill rig work. You bring:
- A degree in Geology or a related discipline
- 1-3 years’ experience in RC and diamond drilling within an exploration environment
- Strong attention to detail in sampling, logging, and data recording
- Confidence working in remote field locations
- A proactive mindset, strong work ethic, and commitment to safety
