Boilermaker / Mechanical Fitter
An opportunity is available for experienced Boilermakers and Mechanical Fitters to join a growing, family-owned WA engineering business working across the defence, mining, oil & gas, manufacturing and commercial marine industries.
We are looking for reliable, safety-focused tradespeople who take pride in their work and are seeking a long-term career.
Key Requirements:
- Trade qualified Boilermaker or Mechanical Fitter (Certificate III or equivalent).
- Boilermakers: Experience with FCAW, GTAW and GMAW welding and competent in 1G, 2G, 5G and 6G welding positions.
- Mechanical Fitters: Experience in mechanical fitting, assembly, maintenance and interpreting engineering drawings, with knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Current WA C Class Driver's Licence and reliable transport.
- Current White Card.
- Forklift, EWP, Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets are advantageous.
- Experience in workshop and site environments.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship and teamwork.
- Permanent Australian working rights.
- Ability to pass pre-employment medicals, drug and alcohol screening, and Defence workforce screening, including identity, work rights and criminal history checks.
