Auto Electricians – FIFO Underground Mining

FIFO from Perth | Geraldton Region | $80–$90/hr

We are currently seeking experienced Auto Electricians to join an underground mining operation located just out of Geraldton, WA.

About the role

We are looking for experienced Auto Electricians with a strong background in underground mobile plant maintenance.

Candidates must have hands-on experience working on underground mining equipment, including drill rigs, jumbos and underground haul trucks.

Essential experience

• Sandvik DD420 / DD421 / DD423i
• Epiroc underground equipment
• Underground drill rigs and jumbos
• Underground haul trucks
• Underground mobile mining equipment
• Electrical fault finding and diagnostics
• Servicing, repairs and breakdown maintenance
• Auto electrical systems, wiring and electrical components

What we’re looking for

• Trade-qualified Auto Electrician
• Proven underground mining experience
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience maintaining underground mobile plant
• Safety-focused attitude
• Ability to work effectively as part of a maintenance team
