These are permanent, full-time positions sitting within a thriving external audit division. You'll work across a diverse client portfolio spanning multiple industries, from ASX-listed companies through to not-for-profit organisations. Key Responsibilities
Senior –
You will work across a diverse client portfolio spanning multiple industries, from ASX-listed companies through to not-for-profit organisations. You will also gain exposure to non-audit engagements, including due diligence assignments and independent expert reports.
- Plan and execute external audits across a varied client base
- Produce high-quality financial audits in accordance with Australian and International Auditing Standards
- Communicate findings and results directly with clients and stakeholders
- Support and contribute to non-audit engagements including due diligence and independent expert reports
- Work collaboratively within an engaged and professional team
This role offers a genuine career progression pathway from Manager through to Director for ambitious, well-organised professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality audits across a diverse client portfolio.
- Manage, direct and monitor audit teams across multiple concurrent engagements
- Plan, execute and complete external audits across a wide range of industries
- Review all work prior to submission to the Audit Partner for further review
- Write reports for audit committees and management
- Maintain strong client relationships
- Train, mentor and develop junior staff on engagements
- Understand and manage firm risk and monitor financial performance of projects
Senior -
- CA/CPA completed or currently underway
- Solid external audit experience gained within Australia, or a jurisdiction applying ISAs and IFRS
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — you'll be client-facing regularly
- Well-organised with strong time management under pressure
- CA or CPA qualified is essential
- Background in a Big 4 or second-tier accounting practice within audit and assurance
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple engagements simultaneously
- Thorough knowledge of current auditing techniques and International Auditing Standards
- Strong project management, analytical, and written communication skills
- A genuine passion for delivering quality outcomes for clients
