The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Litigation & Dispute Resolution Lawyer (Associate or Senior Associate level) to join a high-performing team. You’ll play a pivotal role in managing complex matters, mentoring junior staff, and directly contributing to the strategic direction of client files.
This position is ideal for a driven and confident litigator who thrives in a fast-paced, supportive environment and wants to work on diverse and intellectually stimulating matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a broad range of commercial litigation and dispute resolution matters
- Draft and review letters of advice, affidavits, and witness statements
- Navigate court procedures and appearances with confidence and autonomy
- Supervise and mentor a junior lawyer, contributing to their growth and development
- Collaborate with the Practice Manager on team resourcing and matter allocation
- Work alongside a dedicated PA/Secretary with strong quasi-paralegal capability
- Engage directly with clients and play a key role in shaping litigation strategies
- Minimum 4 years’ post-admission experience in commercial litigation (ideally 6+ years)
- Deep understanding of court processes, drafting, and litigation procedures
- Capable of managing files independently from start to finish
- Confident in producing quality first drafts with minimal oversight
- Strong mentoring abilities and a desire to support junior staff
- A collaborative, team-first mindset with excellent communication skills
