Location: Forrestfield, WA
Salary:$80,000 – $100,000 Base + Commission

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Representative to join our growing team. Working within the truck/trailer manufacturing and transport industry, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and lead generation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Prepare quotations, sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales.
  • Manage customer enquiries from initial contact through to delivery and after-sales support.
  • Assist customers with licensing, permits, handovers, and warranty enquiries.
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular performance reporting.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and transport regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality, safety, and WHS requirements.

Essential Requirements

  • Heavy Combination (HC) Driver's Licence.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience within the transport, heavy vehicle, trailer manufacturing, or related industry.
  • Experience selling capital equipment in a B2B environment.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
  • Excellent time management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.

Desirable Requirements

  • Multi Combination (MC) Driver's Licence.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
  • Relevant trade qualification or technical background.
  • Experience selling heavy vehicle or transport equipment.
  • Knowledge of transport laws, regulations, licensing, and permits.
  • Proven history of achieving sales targets.
