  • Contract / Temp staff reconciliations
  • Superannuation liabilities
  • Payroll Tax liabilities
  • Workers Compensation
  • Ensuring all casual contract staff are paid on time & correctly
  • Year-end reconciliations
  • Preparation of PAYG summaries

Cash-Flow Management:

  • Debtors Management
  • Creditors Management
  • Financial facilities management

Expense controls and reviews:

  • Management of purchase
  • Internal Controls
  • Comparison of supplier agreements
  • Modelling of commercial business activities – financial and legal obligations
  • Liaise with managers
  • Assist with tenders and proposals
  • Variance reporting

Management Reporting Including Month End Reporting:

  • Monthly Reports
  • Profit & Loss
  • Balance Sheet
  • Cash-flow
  • Review & Analysis of month end financials
  • Project Reporting 

Business Plans:

  • Variance reporting

End of Year Financial:

  • Profit & Loss
  • Balance Sheet
  • Tax planning
  • Review & Analysis of financials
  • Shareholder loan reconciliations

Statutory and Compliance:

  • Ensure tax (GST, income, PAYG, FBT, Payroll) compliance
  • Ensure compliance with Superannuation responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with Insurance responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with ASIC responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with ABS responsibilities and other government requirements

Other Management Duties:

  • Facilities management
  • IT Management
  • Contribution to Management team
  • Management of legal information and requirements
  • Advice and support to CEO in personal endeavours 

The Successful Candidate:

  • Qualified Accountant with at least 10 years+ relevant Australian experience to understand tax/payroll legislation and the modern award system
  • Highly computer literate with MYOB and Advanced Excel
  • Proficient in all aspects of accounting, bookkeeping and payroll
  • Recruitment agency experience will be highly regarded but is not essential
