Launching in February 2016 is ChoiceOne’s inhouse training and development for Trainees under the Group Training Scheme.
While the Australian Government offers some great incentives to encourage businesses to employ trainees, the current completion rates and engagement levels are low. We believe this is most likely attributed to the current structure of the learning environment.
ChoiceOne recognises that while traineeships are offered one-on-one training utilising the online environment, there is however sufficient evidence showing the learning style of Millenniums differs significantly to conventional learning.
In response to this, ChoiceOne has developed a Group Learning model that will provide quality accredited ‘class room’ training that meets your specific Traineeship needs, supports the student’s individual workplace assessments, and improves engagement.
ChoiceOne’s group learning environment will:
• Provide an opportunity to up-skill employees to higher standards
• Encourage engagement and completion of the traineeship programme
• Harness social media to support learning and development outcomes
Rather than employing a trainee directly, why not work with us to address and manage your traineeship requirements. This bundled solution sees ChoiceOne take on the ongoing management and development of the trainee.
Our commitment spans:
• Identify, recruit and induct Trainee
• Management of payroll including administration of leave requirements
• Training and development by accredited training provider, and ensuring enrolment and completion of training requirements
• Administration and paperwork to ensure statutory obligations are met
• Management of disputes and grievances
• Management of incidents/accidents, workers compensation claims and return to work programs
• Monitoring and counselling to ensure performance is maximised, and successful completion
