This well established company has built a name as one of Australia’s premier underground mining contractors, operating on a large number of major resource projects both within Australia and overseas.   

The opportunity currently exists for an individual with the motivation, experience and knowledge to join the company as a Training Coordinator and contribute to their ongoing training requirements.  The role will be Perth based with some ongoing site travel as required.  In the early stages, you will be shown all current sites to ensure you have a thorough understanding of their operations.   

As a Training Coordinator you will be involved in: 

• Coordinating internal and external training for all personnel 
• Maintaining training records and databases 
• Ensuring training requirements are maintained, and are up to date, for all personnel 
• Assisting with the development of SOPs and JSAs 
• Maintaining compliance with legislative requirements 

As the successful applicant you will have: 

• A Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training 
• Exposure to working on large scale mining projects, preferably in an UG environment 
• A minimum of 5 years in a similar role with either a miner or contractor 
• Strong verbal and written skills
