Situated in the Melbourne’s northern suburbs, our client operates a large hospital radiology department that offers a range of services across General X-Ray, CT, Mammography, Ultrasound, MRI and interventional Radiology. To assist with the ongoing management of this department our client requires a Deputy Chief Radiographer.

Key competencies of this role include: 

• Experience in working within a large hospital radiology department in addition to managing a modality in a similar environment
• Excellent communication skills in terms of developing relationships with key hospital stakeholders and managers outside the department 
• Knowledge of RIS / PACS systems 
• Willingness to take on extra responsibility and progress within the organisation 
• This role is with a view to expand to Acting Chief Radiographer in approximately 2 months
