An opportunity has arisen with one of Australia’s premier rail companies for an experienced Engineering Manager.  

Essentially you will be responsible for overseeing the design delivery and implementation of design management plans across track and loco’s/wagons. You will be responsible for budgets and delivery schedule and should have excellent report writing skills.  

Ideally you will be degree qualified in Mechanical or Civil engineering and have at least 10 years experience with heavy haul rail with exposure to track AND wagon design, procurement, compliance and logistics. You will have a sound project delivery background on major rail projects (Ideally in North West WA) and strong people management skills.  

You will be reporting directly to the General Manager and will be responsible for design performance reports and the management of staff to meet the projects needs and KPI’s.  The salary on offer will be in the region of $200k for a Perth based position.
