What geographical areas do you cover?
Our registered office is in Perth CBD, we interview and place candidates throughput Perth .
What can a Temp do to ensure they are constantly in work?
- Be flexible in regards to location, rates and position types.
- Answer your phone when we call!
- Make sure all your key attributes are in place, such as IT and keyboard skills, presentation and communication skills along with enthusiasm.

A good resume will open the doors to begin with, so it is important to ensure this is perfect. Your resume should be concise (no more than 2-3 pages) and easy to read with your skills, experience, and accomplishments highlighted.

When you meet your consultant, this is your opportunity to make an impression. Keep in contact with your consultant on a regular basis.
How often should I speak to my consultant?
You are advised to keep in regular contact with your consultant, particularly while we are looking for a placement for you. You should call every few days to remind them of your availability. Your consultant will also regularly contact you to give supervision and to answer any questions you may have.
How long are the placements offered by ChoiceOne?
We offer short, medium and long-term placements as well as Temp to Permanent roles.
Am I required to attend an interview for Temp work?
Yes. At ChoiceOne we like to interview all of our candidates face-to-face, and you cannot be placed in a Temp role without having first met with one of our Consultants. It helps us to ensure that we place you in the right position. For medium to longer-term placements, some of our clients also like to interview a selected number of candidates put forward by ChoiceOne
Will you help me prepare for an interview?
Your consultant will brief you thoroughly prior to interviews. We will give you as much information as possible about the position and the company. Where possible, you will be sent the link to the company’s website where you should be able to find more detailed information.
What if I get an assignment through another agency?
Please call your ChoiceOne Consultant and let them know the dates that you will be unavailable?
When and how do I get paid?
Payment for temporary workers is made on a weekly basis, one week in arrears, via direct debit directly into the bank account you nominated on registration with ChoiceOne. You are required to submit a timesheet for the hours that you have worked each week and have this signed by your manager/supervisor.
At registration you will be asked to complete a bank form showing your account for payment. If you change your bank details, you MUST complete a new form. You can obtain a new form by contacting your Consultant.
Payroll is usually run on a Wednesday, as long as we received your timesheet by close of business Monday. You pay will reach your account on a Thursday or Friday dependant upon who you bank with. Public Holidays may affect pay days and the day your pay goes into your account.
