Reliability 

Being available when you say is another great way to be successful. To be known as a reliable worker will always ensure you receive plenty of work.

Flexibility

Being a flexible worker also increases your chances of work. If you limit yourself to only working in hospitals then you may not get as many shifts as you would if you worked in hospitals and nursing homes.

Attitude

It’s advisable to know people by their names even if the temping period is very short. A successful attitude and sincerity will always be helpful while temping. You never know who is observing you keenly and considering offering you a fulltime position.

Understanding

Listening intently and understanding the job assigned to you is strongly recommended. Do not hesitate to ask if something is not understood.

Enthusiasm

Once you have started your assignment, try to do more than what is expected of you, show enthusiasm, gain respect and show your capabilities to their full potential. Who knows where it could lead.

Communication

Timesheets need to be in by Monday. If you work a shift and we don’t know about it, we cannot pay you so please advise us of any extra shifts worked. For example if a facility asks you to come back on another day and you agree, just give us a quick call in case the facility doesn’t.
