Temping is a great way to expand your skill base. Each new system you use makes you more valuable to future employers. If you let us know about any new packages /switchboards or other systems that you have experience with, we can update our information and continually improve your chances of finding more and better work.

Mobiles can be disruptive and tend to be seen as time wasting. Turn all mobile phones over to message bank while at work and seek permission from the employer should you be required to make an urgent personal call.

If you are unsure of the employer why not check them out on the web? Most businesses now have a web presence.

Etiquette

Many employees are particular about their workspace and may find it awkward to have someone else there in their absence. It is important to respect the boundaries of absent employees by leaving things as you found them, both on the desk and on the computer.
